Chicago Psychotherapy Group (CPG) is comprised of three independent, licensed clinical psychologists - Dr. Kimberley Hogan, Dr. Nina Uziel-Miller, and Dr. Eryn Weber-Shifrin.  The doctors of CPG provide psychotherapy to a broad range of clients.  They each commonly see clients struggling with issues related to: 

• self esteem & identity
  
• relationships & family
• career & work-life balance
• anxiety & depression
• life transitions

In addition, each psychotherapist has a broad range of specialized training and expertise which includes:

• eating disorders & body image
• illness, loss & health
  
• sexuality & sexual identity

• couples counseling
  

The doctors of CPG provide consultation to one another and refer to each other as well as to a number of clinicians, psychiatrists, and physicians within the Chicago community in order to ensure that all clients who seek treatment through CPG receive the most appropriate referrals and the highest level of care. 

Why therapy?

Psychotherapy can and does work.  Many of the clients who seek help through CPG have never seen a therapist or counselor before.  Many come in for treatment because they are dissatisfied with their lives or their relationships or are feeling unhappy or stuck.  Many feel they are just not who or where they thought they would be in their lives.  Others seek treatment around a specific problem or crisis - such as a break-up or loss that they just can't seem to work through on their own.  Many other clients have had treatment in the past and are looking to begin therapy again in a new environment with a new provider.

If you are considering therapy, the psychotherapists of CPG encourage you to call.  They will provide you with a free telephone consultation to assess whether therapy might be helpful and whether one of our doctors might be able to help.  If you choose to come in for therapy, they will work with you over the first one or two sessions to create treatment goals and a plan best suited for you and your needs.  The doctors of CPG each received their degrees from Northwestern University.  They are well-trained and highly experienced clinicians and they can help you become the person you want to be.  Make the call.  Therapy works.
